This Privacy Policy explains transparently how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you interact with the Munchix platform via web, progressive web app (PWA), or mobile interfaces.
By accessing Munchix or registering an account as a Customer, Home-Chef, or Delivery Partner (Rider), you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Depending on your role on the Munchix marketplace, we collect the following categories of information:
- Customer Accounts: Full name, phone number, email address, physical delivery addresses, and precise GPS coordinates for order drop-off.
- Home-Chef Partners: Full name, CNIC number, kitchen brand name, kitchen location coordinates, operational hours, minimum order quantities (MOQ), food safety checklist responses, and kitchen setup photographs.
- Delivery Partners (Riders): Full legal name, CNIC front/back copies, driving license scans, vehicle registration documents, number plate details, utility bills, guarantor contact details, and live GPS telemetry when on-duty.
- Device & Network Data: IP addresses, browser user-agents, device models, session cookies, and local caching tokens.

We use reCAPTCHA v3 to detect automated bot attacks and prevent fraudulent account creation. This service analyzes hardware and interaction telemetry in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

We employ Grafana Faro Real-User Monitoring for client-side crash reporting, performance bottlenecks, and frontend diagnostics to keep the app responsive on all mobile networks.

Order delivery coordinates, customer contact numbers, and pickup kitchen addresses are shared with verified Munchix freelance riders exclusively for active order fulfillment, navigation, and doorstep delivery.

Transactional verification OTPs, order receipts, and account validation notifications are processed securely through our dedicated Hostinger SMTP mail relay.
photo_cameraMeta Graph API & Social Channels (Instagram & Facebook)
Our Community Feed showcases publicly published updates, chef spotlights, and reels from official Munchix channels via server-side cached Meta Graph API proxies. No visitor personal data or tokens are shared with Meta during page browsing. Outbound interactions and follows are subject to Meta’s standard Data Privacy Policy.

Our backend systems log incoming IP addresses and request headers to calculate visitor retention metrics, differentiate unique vs. recurring users, and protect against distributed brute-force attacks. IP addresses are mapped to regional Karachi sub-zones and stored in encrypted form.

We implement comprehensive technical and organizational security controls:
- Passwords are hashed using one-way Bcrypt algorithms with 12 computational rounds.
- API sessions are secured via cryptographically generated Laravel Sanctum Bearer tokens stored locally in
munchix_token. - Strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) isolates chef financial data and customer identities from unauthorized roles.
- All web traffic is transmitted via mandatory 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS).

Munchix provides an integrated, real-time messaging communication system to facilitate safe coordination between Customers, Home-Chefs, and Delivery Riders during order processing and kitchen inquiries.

To maintain high hygiene standards, ensure food safety compliance, prevent fraud, and swiftly resolve customer disputes, authorized Munchix platform superadministrators have the ability and authority to review, inspect, and audit all in-app communications between platform users.
Prohibition of Off-Platform Disintermediation: For the safety and financial security of both customers and kitchen partners, sharing personal telephone numbers, WhatsApp details, banking credentials, or arranging off-platform direct cash transactions is strictly prohibited. Automated system filters actively flag and block unauthorized contact exchange. Violations may lead to immediate suspension of kitchen listing or user accounts.

You maintain full authority over your personal information. You may request to:
- Inspect and export all personal data stored in your Munchix account profile.
- Update or correct outdated address, contact, or kitchen records.
- Request permanent account deletion and removal of uploaded CNIC/verification documents by contacting our privacy compliance desk.
