gavel1. Acceptance & Agreement

By accessing, browsing, or registering an account on the Munchix website, progressive web application, or mobile portals, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue platform usage immediately.

storefront2. Marketplace Intermediary Role

Munchix operates strictly as a two-sided digital marketplace connecting independent home-chefs (“Chefs”) with food consumers (“Customers”) and independent third-party delivery dispatchers (“Riders”).

Chefs are independent culinary artisans and are not direct employees or agents of Munchix. Each chef is solely responsible for meal preparation quality, ingredient authenticity, and compliance with home food hygiene best practices.

receipt_long3. Ordering, Pricing & Payments

• Pricing: All dish prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and established directly by the home chef. Server-side verification ensures that only authentic DB prices are billed at checkout.
• Payment Method: Munchix MVP currently supports Cash on Delivery (COD) upon food handover. Customers agree to pay the exact grand total shown on the digital order invoice.
• Order Confirmation: An order is legally confirmed once accepted by the respective home chef. Cancellations after a kitchen has initiated meal preparation may result in account penalties.

soup_kitchen4. Home-Chef Standards & Warranties

Home-Chefs registered on Munchix agree and warrant that:

• All meals are freshly prepared in clean, sanitary home environments adhering to Munchix onboarding hygiene standards.
• Halal and authentic ingredients are used exclusively.
• Operational hours and minimum order quantities (MOQ) displayed in the store profile are strictly honored.
• Munchix reserves the right to unlist or suspend any kitchen that receives repeated verified quality complaints.

two_wheeler5. Delivery Partner (Rider) Terms & Cash Reconciliation

• Riders must maintain valid Pakistani CNIC, driving license, and vehicle registration documents.
• Float Limit Rule: To protect platform integrity, riders are subject to a strict Rs. 5,000 cash float limit. Once accumulated COD cash reaches Rs. 5,000, the system automatically restricts order dispatching until the rider deposits and reconciles cash with the hub admin.
• Riders must comply with Karachi traffic safety guidelines and transport food in sanitary thermal bags.

photo_camera6. Community Feed & Social Media Channels

Munchix hosts a Community Social Feed showcasing culinary spotlights, customer reviews, video reels, and promotional updates aggregated from official Munchix social channels (including Instagram and Facebook).

• Content displayed in the Community Feed is for informational and engagement purposes only.
• Outbound links redirecting to Instagram or Facebook are governed by Meta's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• User comments, interactions, and follow actions made on external platforms are the sole responsibility of the respective user.

account_balance7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Karachi, Sindh.
