gavel1. Acceptance & Agreement
By accessing, browsing, or registering an account on the Munchix website, progressive web application, or mobile portals, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue platform usage immediately.
storefront2. Marketplace Intermediary Role
Munchix operates strictly as a two-sided digital marketplace connecting independent home-chefs (“Chefs”) with food consumers (“Customers”) and independent third-party delivery dispatchers (“Riders”).
Chefs are independent culinary artisans and are not direct employees or agents of Munchix. Each chef is solely responsible for meal preparation quality, ingredient authenticity, and compliance with home food hygiene best practices.
receipt_long3. Ordering, Pricing, Escrow & Payment Methods
- Pricing & Dish Amounts: All dish prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and established directly by the home chef. Server-side verification ensures that authentic database prices are strictly billed at checkout.
- 0% Platform Commission on Self-Delivery: When home-chefs opt for independent self-delivery, Munchix charges 0% platform commission (100% Free). Home chefs keep 100% of their meal earnings and set their own self-delivery fee if applicable.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): For standard orders without advance requirements, customers pay the exact invoice total in cash upon doorstep delivery.
- Munchix Escrow Account (For Munchix Managed Fleet Orders): Where a home-chef has configured delivery services to be managed by Munchix fleet dispatch, platform delivery charges apply (Rs. 150). For pre-orders or high-value orders requiring advance payment under Munchix fleet management, funds are securely held in the Official Munchix Platform Escrow Account:

🛡️ Escrow Guarantee: Payment receipts are audited by Munchix Superadministration. Funds remain protected in escrow until your food is verified and dispatched.
- Direct Chef Payments (Independent Self-Delivery Orders): Where a kitchen manages delivery independently, advance payment is transferred directly into the Chef's personal bank account or digital wallet (EasyPaisa/JazzCash/Nayapay/Sadapay). Munchix does not act as an escrow agent or custodian for direct chef payments.
- Order Confirmation: An order is legally confirmed once accepted by the respective home chef and (where applicable) advance payment verification is completed.
soup_kitchen4. Home-Chef Standards & Warranties
Home-Chefs registered on Munchix agree and warrant that:
- All meals are freshly prepared in clean, sanitary home environments adhering to Munchix onboarding hygiene standards.
- Halal and authentic ingredients are used exclusively.
- Operational hours and minimum order quantities (MOQ) displayed in the store profile are strictly honored.
- Munchix reserves the right to unlist or suspend any kitchen that receives repeated verified quality complaints.
two_wheeler5. Delivery Models, Dispatch & Disclaimer of Liability
A. Munchix Managed Fleet Delivery
When an order is routed through Munchix Fleet Dispatch, verified freelance riders are assigned within kitchen geofences. Standard platform delivery charges (Rs. 150) are billed. Riders must maintain valid Pakistani CNIC, driving license, and vehicle registration, and adhere to a strict Rs. 5,000 cash float limit.
shieldB. Independent Chef Self-Delivery — Complete Disclaimer of Platform Liability
Where a home-chef configures their kitchen for Independent Self-Delivery, the home chef exercises exclusive control over food transport, packaging, delivery personnel, and courier selection (e.g. personal riders, family dispatch, or third-party couriers like Bykea, Indrive, or Careem).
Platform Role Notice: In accordance with the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002 (ETO) and Pakistani Contract Law, Munchix operates solely as an intermediary online communications and discovery directory. Munchix charges 0% commission on independent orders and does not participate in the transport, custody, or fulfillment of meals.
Waiver of Liability: For all independent self-delivery orders and direct peer-to-peer bank transfers, Munchix, its founders, and administrators expressly disclaim all liability and responsibility for any delivery delays, road mishaps, food spillage, missing items, culinary quality disputes, or financial disagreements between the customer and the home-chef. Customers and home-chefs contract directly with each other at their own sole discretion and risk.
C. Direct In-App Order Coordination
Every confirmed order includes built-in in-app chat between customer and home chef. Both parties must use in-app messaging to coordinate pickup times, gate instructions, and delivery landmarks safely.
photo_camera6. Community Feed & Social Media Channels
Munchix hosts a Community Social Feed showcasing culinary spotlights, customer reviews, video reels, and promotional updates aggregated from official Munchix social channels (including Instagram and Facebook).
- Content displayed in the Community Feed is for informational and engagement purposes only.
- Outbound links redirecting to Instagram or Facebook are governed by Meta's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- User comments, interactions, and follow actions made on external platforms are the sole responsibility of the respective user.
account_balance7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Karachi, Sindh.
